Introduction to ACCA
ACCA stands for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants a leading international accountancy body. The ACCA qualification is recognized and is treated in other countries as being equivalent to their local qualification.The ACCA qualification proves to employers that you have ability in all aspects of business It is the largest and fastest growing qualification in the world, with over 500,000 members and students in 170 countries ACCA is the global body for professional accountants with 147,000 members and 424,000 students in over 170 countries. ACCA has a network of 83 offices and centers across the world. ACCA is a leading globally recognized accountancy body situated in United Kingdom (UK). Its members are required to pass a series of 14 examinations in order to get Certification.The ACCA Qualification develops accounting knowledge and skills as well as professional values. This means you can build a successful career as a finance professional in any sector. To qualify as an ACCA member, you will need to complete:
o A minimum of five out of 14 exams (Nine are eligible for exemption based on your previous qualification)
o The practical experience requiremen to The Professional Ethics module

o B Sc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (After 9 Exams of ACCA )
o BBA (Hon’s) from Pakistani Universities (After 9 Exams of ACCA )
o MBA from Oxford Brooks University and Local Pakistani Universities (After ACCA Completion)
The qualification is internationally recognized in more than 170 countries as being equivalent to recognized degrees. ACCA qualified not only enjoy being a Chartered Accountant only but can also gain recognized degrees. On finished your 9 out of 14 exams of ACCA, students will be eligible for additional Degree of B.Sc hones (applied accounting) from OXFORD BROOKS UNIVERSITY (LONDON). Also in Pakistan an ACCA qualified person is awarded with M.COM degree recognized by HEC (higher education commission of Pakistan).
